Ⅰ、Training objectives

It is the main feature of Electrical Engineering and Automation that combines the advantages of the electrical engineering discipline and the high-quality teaching resources in our university. Students can learn electrical theory, electronic technology, information technology, control theory, computer technology and other professional knowledge and can master electric energy production, transmission, usage as the core of the relevant professional knowledge. This major tries to cultivate students' ability to use the knowledge to refine science and technology concepts, to solve engineering problems and to build up the engineering system. Students can become complex, international engineering and technical personnel in the electrical engineering related to the planning and design, electrical equipment manufacturing, power plant and power grid construction, commissioning and operation of electrical system, information processing, protection and system control, state monitoring, maintenance, environmental protection, quality assurance and other fields.


Ⅱ、Training requirements

Professional knowledge such as circuit, electromagnetic field, electronic technology, computer technology, signal processing, electrical motor, automatic control and so on can be learned. Basic training in electrical, electronic, information, control and computer technology will be implemented. The basic ability to solve the problems of equipment design and manufacturing, system analysis and operation in the field of electrical engineering can be obtained.


Graduates should acquire the following knowledge and abilities:

1、Knowledge of mathematics, science, and management relevant with the subject of electrical engineering.

2、Basic theory and professional knowledge about the subject of electrical engineering, and more systematic engineering practice experience.

3、Ability to design and implement engineering experiments, and to analyze the results of the experiment.

4、Current status and trend of the electrical profession, and to have a attitude and consciousness of innovation.

5、Ability to design systems and processes with combination of theory and technology.

6、Ability to learn continuously and adaption to development.

7、Ability to communicate, compete and cooperate with international perspective and cross-culture mind.
