Introduction


He obtained his bachelor, master and doctor degree in Tinajin Polytechnic University (TJPU) in the year of 1993, 1996 and 1999, respectively. From 1997 to 1999, he did his doctor dissertation about mechanical properties of multi-axial warp knitted fabric in the Hongkong Polytechnic University. Then he began to work in the textile composite research institute of TJPU, and 3 years later he was promoted to be in charge of the international office and school of international education till now. Prof. Jiang’s main research interests include fabric mechanics, directionally oriented knitted fabric, knitted fabric reinforced composites, technical textiles, conformability of sheet textiles to 3D surface, knitting technology and textile engineering.

Knitting technology, fabric mechanics, knitted textile composites, directionally oriented knitted fabrics.
